For the Chicken Wings:

  • 2 lbs free-range chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Homemade Buffalo Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce such as Frank's RedHot
  • 1/4 cup grass-fed butter or ghee
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  • While the wings are baking, prepare the homemade buffalo sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the hot sauce, grass-fed butter, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt.
  • Whisk the sauce until the butter is melted and all ingredients are well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the homemade buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are fully coated.
