- 1 large ginger root peeled and chopped
- 2 apples cored and chopped
- 3 carrots peeled and chopped
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp honey optional, for added sweetness
Prepare the Ingredients: Peel and chop the ginger root, core and chop the apples, and peel and chop the carrots. Juice the lemon.
Blend or Juice: If using a blender, add the ginger, apples, carrots, lemon juice, and water. Blend on high until smooth. If using a juicer, process the ginger, apples, and carrots according to the manufacturer's instructions, then mix in the lemon juice.
Strain the Juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large bowl or jug to remove the pulp. Use a spoon to press down on the pulp to extract as much juice as possible.
