Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour

  • 1/4 cup powdered erythritol or preferred keto sweetener
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.

  • Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Pro Tip
Use hot coffee instead of hot water in the batter — the coffee doesn't make the cake taste like coffee, but it intensifies and deepens the chocolate flavor dramatically. Don't skip this step.
