How To Make Celery Juice

Celery juice has become a popular health drink, known for its refreshing taste and numerous health benefits. Making your own celery juice at home is simple and requires just a few ingredients and tools.

Begin by thoroughly washing a bunch of celery stalks under running water to remove any dirt and impurities, then pat them dry with a clean towel. Cut off the base and the leafy tops of the celery stalks, saving the leaves for other recipes or discarding them. If you have a juicer, simply feed the celery stalks into the juicer, following the manufacturer’s instructions, and collect the juice in a glass or jug. If you’re using a blender, chop the celery into smaller pieces to make it easier to blend. Place the chopped celery into the blender and blend on high until it becomes a smooth, pulpy mixture.

Place a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth over a bowl or jug and pour the blended celery pulp into the strainer, using a spoon to press and extract as much juice as possible.

Alternatively, gather the cheesecloth edges and twist to squeeze out the juice. For a touch of extra flavor, you can add the juice of half a lemon to your celery juice, which will also provide additional vitamin C. A pinch of sea salt can enhance the taste but is entirely optional. Pour the freshly extracted celery juice into a glass and serve immediately for the best taste and nutritional benefits.

Celery juice is best enjoyed on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning, but you can drink it at any time of the day. By making your own celery juice at home, you can ensure it’s fresh and free from any added preservatives or sugars.

Enjoy this simple yet powerful drink as part of your daily wellness routine!
