  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • Lemon slices optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the mint leaves: Rinse the mint leaves thoroughly and remove any stems.
  • Boil the water: In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add mint leaves: Remove the saucepan from heat and add the fresh mint leaves. Let the leaves steep for 10 minutes.
  • Strain the tea: Strain the tea through a fine mesh sieve into a teapot or large pitcher.
  • Add honey and lemon: Stir in the honey and lemon juice until fully dissolved.
